The owner and founder of Studio J is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of healthcare experience. Born and raised in Poland, she came to Western North Carolina over two decades ago, where she fell in love with the Smoky Mountains. She considers Haywood County, where she lives with her husband, 2 teenage children, dogs, and a cat, her home. 

After graduating from School of Law at the Polish University of Wroclaw, she changed her career path by enrolling at Haywood Community College School of Nursing. She obtained her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing Degrees (Summa cum Laude) from Western Carolina University with the concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Med Spa Association where she continuously participates in educational opportunities to provide highest quality services to her patients. She is a certified Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler injector. 

Joanna has a range of experience in Medical, Surgical, Oncology, ICU, and ER nursing. After numerous years dedicated to selflessly caring for individuals in our community during their most challenging moments, Joanna reached a profound realization that prioritizing self-care and embracing a healthy lifestyle are vital to preventing illness and fostering overall physical and emotional well-being. With over a year of unwavering commitment as an Emergency Room Nurse Practitioner, Joanna has personally witnessed the transformative impact of medical interventions during critical situations. 

Now, she is excited to embark on a new journey, bringing a unique blend of medical expertise, compassion, and innovation to the world of wellness and rejuvenation for Waynesville and its neighboring communities.
